Wedding Light FAQ

Why not schedule my ceremony at noon?

Midday sun is directly overhead, creating harsh shadows and squinting. Ceremonies look and feel better when the sun is lower in the sky.

What if I want a first look?

A first look is often scheduled in the late afternoon. This allows relaxed portraits before guests arrive, then additional bride & groom photos during Golden Hour for variety.

What if it rains?

Cloud cover softens light, removing the golden glow but still giving beautiful, flattering portraits. We’ll plan indoor or covered options just in case.

Do I need two shooters?

For larger weddings, two shooters allow one photographer to focus on the couple while the other captures guest reactions, details, and candids simultaneously.

What about indoor ceremonies?

We’ll plan your portraits around Golden Hour before or after the ceremony so you still benefit from that cinematic light outdoors.
